WETWARE DECEIVED (Starvation)

August 4, 2017

One more point on “Wetware” and then I return to . . .   the usual.   But caution.   Because the Truth is NOT staring us in the face.

Starving human

The man in the photo has dignity and worth and value and is worthy of our attention —  our love and care.

The man is someone’s brother . . .  son . . .  father . . .  friend.    Africa.    An abundance of food has been sent from America,  Russia,  and many European countries.    It’s waiting for him at the seaports, in ships,  and it’s growing older, in some instances,  or it’s being transported elsewhere,  where  his government can make the most profit and distribute the most power and influence.

His government is a powerfully entrenched Leftist governing force —   the “Errors of Russia”   (which did not originate in Russia) are at work, against this  “little”  man.    Because he’s not rich or powerful.  “The rich get richer and the poor get poorer.”

I mentioned the “Errors of Russia”  because this phrase was used by the Apparitions in Fatima,  1917,   with warnings and predictions which seem to be coming true.   One of the little children,  Jacinta,  had a powerful vision that year,  which she perceived was about the future of the human race.

In the vision appeared the pope, in  a church,  on his knees,  alone, praying and weeping.    The little church was in the middle of a vast field, filled with countless numbers of humans who were starving to death,  crying out for help,  weeping, dying.     Jacinta said she had the impression that they were not just starving for physical food,  but for spiritual food.

And then she said she had the impression that the Church, the Christian Church,  was in deep trouble.

The man in the photo above is a metaphor, then,  for our own human spirits  being starved for lack of  spiritual food,   spiritual Truth.    Like the man in the photo,  his Food is waiting for him;  it’s just not being delivered.  As a matter of fact,  it is being withheld from us all with the intent to  keep information and truth in the hands of the very few.

Here’s how this relates to the Artificial Intelligence I’ve been writing about:    The method of keeping people in a  state of deadly starvation is Deception;  the mechanism  is the proliferation of lies and distortions by means of our “modern”  communication technology which can make anything appear to be anything.

It’s nothing new or surprising.  Nothing unusual.   One example:   My generation grew up on this slogan —   Better Living Through Chemistry!  the advertising campaign sang to  us cheerfully.

better living

What is NOT contaminated with  “chemicals” now?

Today we are deceived by cheerful news about vaccines, cell towers,  colonization by third world migrants,   the medical industry,   our education system;  and truth is regularly withheld concerning the stock market,  political investigations,  globalization,  war, crime,  the ongoing disaster in Fukushima   (and nuclear power plants around the world),   and worse, for our spiritual starvation:    historical truth,  moral truth,  religious truth.

Today in the news   (not the “mainstream news)  was an article about Google’s new AI program that roams the com boxes looking for “toxic religious beliefs”  that are then censored.     Facebook regularly removes conservative  secular and religious sites.   Another article shows that YouTube has reduced the number of conservative,  religious videos by 50% –  and more traditional beliefs being censored all the time.

Starving human face     Like sheep, we are being herded into one global viewpoint,  as we starve for Truth.   There is agony,  unrest,  uncertainty,  mortal danger,    because we can’t function without the free use of our intellect,  and we can’t freely use our intellects in a climate of Deception.

I wish for my readers an awareness of the pervasive atmosphere of Deception.  And then I wish for everyone the strength of will to search for Truth.     And I wish for the courage to choose Truth.   And I wish for the fortitude to fight for the Truth.

The method (of our spiritual starvation)  is Deception;  the mechanism is communications technology,  facilitated by not human intelligence  but Artificial Intelligence that we’ve just  recently perceived to be not so easy to control.   Deception is made easy.

Poster AWAKE

I don’t seem to sleep much,  but when I do sleep, I sleep deeply.     Then it’s painful to wake up!     I hate waking up — until I do.

And then it’s wonderful to be alive.

TELLING IT LIKE IT IS

April 2, 2017

(Jesus,  confrontational and blunt,  bearer of bad news. )

“Red sky in morning,  sailors take warning”  —

Sunrise 380

There aren’t too many sunrises in my “circadian rhythm” –   but I caught one recently!    And sure enough, we had about three days of rain following this beautiful sky.

It was Passion Sunday today,  a name for this particular Sunday that’s been recognized for centuries as the one in which we begin the steep,  inevitable slide downward into the days of the Crucifixion.      We carefully reread and then meditate on the events in those last couple of weeks before the death of Christ.   There’s lots there for our minds to confront.

None of His friends knew that some very bad times were coming, though.    In fact,  Jesus thought it weird that mankind can read the signs in the sky,  like red skies in mornings,  but we can’t read the Signs of the Times.  So  His last conversations were particularly blunt and to-the-point.

No time left for a kinder, gentler religion of luv and mercy for everyone, everywhere,  no matter what they’re doing and no matter what they believe in.

The Reading Appointed for Passion  Sunday:

phar n rulers

Speaking to the local rulers and religious leaders of His day,  Jesus told them right out that if they were of God –  if, as they thought they were —  then they would understand His words and believe Him,  but since they reject Him,  they are not of God but of God’s enemy,  the Devil.

You’re, a liar,  they said.      No, you are the liars,  He said.

No backing down from the truth.

We’re sons of Abraham, they said.

pharisee angry

But,  He said,   Abraham  saw My day,  he saw Me come to earth, and he rejoiced to see Me.

You can’t claim   that Abraham ever saw You!    You’re just nothing but a young, inexperienced nobody.

But —  before Abraham ever was  —     I AM.

That was the statement that did it.    Jesus is right-out, plainly, clearly, bluntly stating that  He and God,  (who had revealed Himself with the name I AM)   are one and the same.

Take it or leave it.

Believe it or don’t.

pharisees

They didn’t believe it –  and they didn’t get Him that time.   Yet.   (“They took up stones, therefore, to cast at Him;  but Jesus hid himself and went out of the temple.”)

But some of them  and their children lived to see the destruction of that beautiful, sturdy temple they were in.   It took them unawares.

The Signs of the Times:  Judgment comes  upon all unbelievers.

Pretty blunt.

(DNC) – “DEAR MRS BROWN”

July 25, 2016

mom african

Dear Mrs.  Brown,

First,  I am going to assume you and your son Michael have the same last name.    And “Mrs.”  is one of the highest titles a woman can receive (and earn); so I am going to use that honorable title for you.

mom and ch   In addition,   I share with you the awesome position of motherhood with all its beauty and wonderment, and awesome responsibilities.

I am wondering about some things.   I am a mother too,  and I know some things that the children we raise must be taught.

I also have a son that grew to be quite large,  larger than most of the people around him, larger than  most of his friends.   Mrs. Brown, did you teach your son that his size might intimidate others, and that he could easily become a self-entitled bully, just by the way smaller people react to his size?

Did you (and his father)  teach him and teach him by example  to be gentle with other people, respectful?

Dd you teach him that you don’t “throw your weight around” – not by shouting and intimidating words, nor literally, physically -although he easily could?

mom bl and son    Did you teach him the Ten Commandments (which elevate all cultures) such as Thou Shalt Not Steal?

Did you teach him that shoplifting, even a small item,  is stealing?

Did you teach him that when the store owner catches him,  not to become intimidating and  not to push the store manager down into a display,  even though your son, Michael,  does have the physical strength to do that?

Dear Mrs. Brown,    does he know that he can be a bully people and ignore   laws which ordinary  people have to live by —  but he mustn’t?

Did you teach him that one doesn’t walk down the middle of the street?

That it’s dangerous for him to do so?

That it’s against the law for pedestrians?

That it’s disruptive to traffic and rude to drivers?

That when a policeman tells him to “get off the road,”  he should do that?

Mrs. Brown,  does he know that when you break a law, like stealing from a store,  that your description will become known to the local police?

Mrs. Brown,  does he know that policemen have a DUTY to stop you if you look like the lawbreaker  and ask you questions about where you’d just been?

Policemen have duties to do, in order to protect you and me, and to enforce public safety laws?

Mrs. Brown,  did you teach your son, Michael,  to show respect to a police officer who is talking to you?

And to stop walking so he can talk to you?

And not to shout back?

And not charge his police car?

And not to reach into the car and try to take his gun?

Did you teach him that there would be eye witnesses and videos and forensic evidence of his actions inside the police car?

Did you teach him that those actions against a police officer could result in his death?

Mrs. Brown,  did you speak up when people began lying about what happened, in order to arouse the anger a few people of his own race?

Mrs. Brown, did you speak out to the public and teach them  that this whole movement, based upon something that didn’t happen with your son  should come to a stop because it is based upon an erroneous premise and it promotes contempt,  hatred, and violence against police officers –  whom we all need to keep the police and public safety for us?

Did you speak out to the crowds to tell them to have respect for your son by telling the truth?

The truth about how your son grew up?

The truth about what your son did on the day of his death?

The truth about what happens when anyone doesn’t obey the law?

The truth that there consequences for living according to your own impulses, without self restraint, without reference to a Higher Power?

Dear Mrs. Brown,  I hope you are not riding high on the phenomenon called celebrity.  It’s a heady experience,  but it does no honor to your son, and his death would remain meaningless.

And the falsehood that grows and grows and arouses anger in more people will result in the death of many policemen,  (and not the “bad” policemen who are then prosecuted, but policemen in general,  the good ones.)

And law and order will break down.

And it will be even more difficult, if not impossible,  for a peaceful society to produce safety and prosperity for more and more people.

The political process:

Crowd

I hope all these people know,  that you can’t break laws just because of who you are.

TRUTH AND TRULY

June 29, 2016

I came across an interesting word study today,  while preparing for this Fall’s class topic in Bible History:  Joshua.

I think this is one of the most misunderstood books in the Bible.  The book of Joshua sets forth a pretty straightforward narrative, full of drama and excitement and lessons for us,  but enemies of the Faith have taken portions of the events, without context and without meaning,  and flung them up  into the face of God,  arrogantly presuming that they have discovered a “dirty, dark secret”  in the Bible.

(Sigh-h-h-h.)

Well,  it’s this Joshua:

Joshua leading

After 400 years of servitude and slavery in a foreign land and after 40 years of traveling through the harsh desert,   someone had to lead the Israelites home, into their Promise Land,  and the man,  Joshua, was chosen for the task.

This is the Joshua that we sing about:  “Joshua fit the battle of Jericho –  Jericho – Jericho-o-o-o-o . . .   Joshua fit the battle of Jericho, and the WALLS came tumbling down!”

Now, truth and wisdom and knowledge come to us by means of language, and these Israelites spoke an ancient form of Hebrew,  one close to the Hebrew spoken today.  Hebrew developed from a “proto-Hebrew” which scholars are still trying to understand more thoroughly.

Some speculate that this was the earliest language spoken in this part of the world.   Some speculate that this proto-Hebrew and its later written form resemble three-dimensional forms of communication “from the Hand of God.”

Adonai

Both the written and spoken Hebrew contains mysteries and layers of meanings waiting to be discovered and to be understood  (when the student is ready).

Whatever really happened to this language,  we can be sure that God-Most-High, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob revealed Himself to humans,  spoke to certain ones,  and passed down His will and wisdom through certain people and events.

Joshua, speaking early Hebrew,  said to an inhabitant of Jericho:  “We will deal kindly and truly with thee. . . “     (Joshua 2:14)    The story is interesting,  but the word “truly”  as well as “true”  and “truth” is even more important for us to ponder.

truth

Joshua had sent a message on ahead to the woman Rachab who promises to help them conquer the city and so the Israelite army will repay Rachab with kindness and truth.

The Hebrew word for truth, ‘emet’ (אמת), contains a deep lesson.

From Rabbi Benjamin Blech’s “The Secrets of Hebrew Words”   —     The word is comprised of three letters  (אמת)   and “requires for its essence the first letter   א/Alef,    the “One” standing for the Almighty.   Remove the initial letter Alef and all that remains is מת(mayt), meaning death. Without God there can be no truth.    In its place only death and destruction remain.”

God is the source of what is true.

Heaven smaller

He is the source of wisdom about what is true and real.  Delete Him from the equation,   any “equation,”   and you descend into uncertainty,  perplexity, confusion,  and all the nasty things that follow:   distrust, disunity,  struggles for power and dominance,  strife, wars, and death.

This isn’t just a lesson from “ancient days.”     Delete Christianity from out of a civilization and you have a Power-State that is founded upon deception and domination over its own citizens.    Lies prevail and the voters choose to be hoaxed by those they vote into office because they are desperate to believe in something.

But there is nothing one can count on, and the citizenry becomes cynical and discomfited.

Add back in The One,  the   א/Alef,     and you move  from  “death” and are ready to approach Life.

“I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life.”

Jesus said, as He was about to leave us, “Behold, in my Father’s house are many mansions;  I go to prepare a place for you.   If it were not so, I would have told you.”  In other words,  I speak the truth –  I am leaving soon now in order to prepare a home for you, forever.

Count on it.

ZERO AND THE UNKNOWN FUR

January 8, 2016

This will be about fur — in a minute.

But first . . .      Remember Zero, in Beetle Bailey’s unit?

Zero's smart

So . . . ?

Is he not correct?    Zero can read the same words as the rest of us and come to a conclusion that makes sense to him.    How long would it take for his friends to explain . . .   oh, never mind.

It would take lots of effort!  And a lot of words!

And words can be a problem too!

Why-English-is-fun

I suspect every language has its funny moments.    And sometimes we enjoy the fun:

Duck-duck-goose

(This is a common American children’s game.  The children sit in a circle while another child,   let’s say it’s you,   walks around the outside of the circle, patting each child on the head, while saying “Duck.”        “Duck, duck, duck, duck duck …”  until you decide  to pat someone on the head,  saying “GOOSE!”  and that someone has to get up a chase you around the circle and you LOSE unless you get back to that recently vacated space in the circle…..      My children in class  used to love this game!)

But  had had had had duck duck goose are words in our language and words are just about all we have to communicate with each other.

And even, in Zero’s case,  when we hear the same words,  we may not be seeing the whole picture  — or the complete story.

Words fail us.  Words escape us.  Last Sunday a friend of mine absolutely ruined the first quarter of the Bears game for me.

I had worn this scarf to church:

SAMSUNG

I wore it with a black coat,  but she saw it and liked it — and then asked the “fatal”  question:  “What kind of fur is that?”

Uh. . . .  I know what store I bought it from.   I liked the feel of it.   It felt very warm.   It was pretty.   It was affordable.    It seems uncharacteristic of me,  but all those little details were enough for me at the time.   I bought it!    I still enjoy it.

I stumbled around for an answer for my friend, and all I could come up with is:   It’s not  … rabbit.    It’s not …ocelot.   Its . .   It’s ….   It’s like that fur trim around the robe of Ol’ King Cole ….   That mystified her.    She probably didn’t even have the same storybook that I had had as a child!     I told her I’d find out.

an ermine weasel

Half way home in the car I blurted out to myself:  “It’s ermine!”

So when I got home and right on through some of the Game,  I was at the Internet trying to find out what kind of fur this was.   The only thing I found out is that it’s unlikely it’s ermine.

SAMSUNG

Rabbit?    Wrong feel to it.   Snow Leopard?   Well, I bought it from a Scandinavian store, and as far as I know,  there are no snow leopards in Scandinavia.

Well, I know it’s faux fur, of course.  All the good furs come from endangered species.    I just can’t get the right “word.”

So maybe,   like Zero in the cartoon,  I can make up a story that makes sense to me.

bar dissolve er

There’s a serious point to all this mildly humorous stuff.

Zero liked his own answer, and his friends would have had to work hard to give him a whole new understanding, a whole new paradigm of his world.  And I could explain to myself that since my scarf really is only fake fur,   they could make it look like anything they wanted to and even if it had been sold at a genuine Scandinavian store,  that doesn’t mean it has to be from a genuine Scandinavian animal.   Scandinavian fake animal.    But I don’t want to think that.

I read a serious essay today about Liberalism.   It’s hard for me to figure out why all their good words and good intentions lead to such disastrous results for human beings.     Freedom?    Inclusiveness?   Tolerance?   Ecumenism?  Equality?   Sustainability?   Affordable?   Fair?   Unity?    Mercy?    Safety?   Collegiality?   Democracy?

All those good words that are used as cudgels against us.     Why do they always turn out to mean the opposite of the plain meaning of those words?

The essay I read explained.    “The Girondins always prepare the way for the Jacobins.”   (Has the knowledge of history been withheld from you in government schools?)    Try this, then:   “And the Mensheviks prepare the way for the Bolsheviks.”       (Same thing, but much closer to our experience.)

If you don’t know what these words reference,  then you stand a near 100% chance of being victimized in the near future . . .   and because you are victimized,  so I will be too, even though I know our history.

The Jacobins and the Bolsheviks and the Progressives and the Gramschi-ites and the Liberals and the Socialists and the Democrats (so-called in America)  all have one method in common:     They all use words and slogans  that mean one thing to us but quite another thing to them.    And they ALL have to violate the meaning of their words by doing the opposite of their stated values,  because that’s the only way they can make events work for them.

And “them”  –  they — are now our Rulers.

If we don’t know our history and we are not wise,  then we are no smarter than Zero.   If we know our history and understand but we do nothing,  we are no more effective than Zero’s good friends.

We can tell ourselves whatever story makes sense to us — while the robbers go on and do their work.

Races have to be treated unequally in the name of equality.    Affordable healthcare is highly unaffordable to  everyone who needs a doctor.   People are taught to  be intolerant in the name of tolerance.   Our Rulers have to force us  to do things or not do things   to produce their version of freedom.

And now we must hide Truth and Danger in the name of “mercy.”

And we must destroy ourselves to be fair to others . . .

Sustainable sustains nothing and nobody.

Et cetera.

PUSH BACK AGAINST SPIN

May 5, 2015

I’m in denial now.   A little spinning of the head;  a  little unspecific sick feeling;  foggy mind;  a body  too tired and sleepy.

butterfly away   Okay, and now a little fever.   Health flees like a bright pretty butterfly that I can’t quite catch up with, because it’s not mine right now.   I can’t write for long,  but I want to say something about something else that is spinning and fleeing. . . .

I start with this statement.   It might be out of logical order, but this is where I’m heading:    If you don’t know the facts, someone else will give you some facts —  and mandate that you believe them.

And never before have we had such invasive and powerful electronic means to change the beliefs and attitudes of the public.  An example coming up in a minute.

I had brought to you before the principle that Truth is the correlation of the human mind with objective reality.   It’s the cornerstone of greatness and achievement of Western civilization.     Humans were created with the ability  to know truth by means of all the faculties of the intellect. Such things as mathematics, science, technological inventions, the rules of language  are the product of observation and  discovery of a rational, intelligible order in objective reality by the human mind.

All of Creation displays an exquisite beauty of rhythm and order which is intelligible by created humans.

There is, therefore, Truth to discover, and facts are bits and pieces of this process.  We stand on the shoulders of great men who began this discovery long before us, and we are able to choose to expand on their knowledge.   We are able to do so,  and we possibly may do so as long as we value truth over propaganda,   truth over spin,  truth over the “facts” of someone’s agenda.

I gotta go.  I have to go find a flower for Mary…   before my head spins too much.   But here.  Here’s an example which is still spinning in my head right now — and it’s one example of so many —

I heard with astonishment today an audience laughing — on cue at the verbal antics of the Barack Hussein person in our country.   They were laughing with derision and mockery at the rest of us   They were cued to laugh by mean and emotionally-charged  words that mocked a good man, by name,  and good decent Americans in general.

Laughter, mockery, derision, demonization — all are  tools of an agenda that bullies and intimidates.    The process is written, discussed, taught to young disciples.  It is so successful that it is  used by several groups who are undermining the American culture, because if there is no more of us,  then power goes to them.

We can push back by exposing this process:  recognizing it and then speaking out, gently, according to your own personality — but speaking out, nevertheless.

I wouldn’t want to submit this post to any of my comp. and rhet. professors — but I think I know what I was getting at:    If you don’t know the facts, someone else will give you some facts —  and mandate that you believe them.

As  an American citizen whose Freedom is assured by our Constitution, who’s in control of what you believe?

Who’s messing with your mind?

PUSH BACK WITH TRUTH

April 28, 2015

I am, along with many of you, watching the developments in Baltimore.      I am in awe of  watching two groups of people right now, and both will be effective because they are looking at the truth of the matter before them.

I’ve never “interrupted” my own posting before, but I must.  I can’t rest until I do.  Nobody has objected.  Nobody questioned or criticized.   But I do.  I protest.      Naming these two groups gives them, perhaps, more credit than I want to imply.    Though I agree with some of their public statements which the media allows us to hear,   I know these groups well enough to know I can’t endorse them as a whole.   .    This is promising.  I haven’t seen any posturing or grandstanding as I do coming from the political leaders and the lawyers.   I know only that they seem refreshingly focused on what is actually in front of them.   Promising.

The second  “awesome”  group  are the mothers    …some of them, judge which ones for yourself.    Listen to them, if you care about children.   They speak truth,  not sociological or psychological nonsense.   Nevertheless,  they are speaking from intimate experience with the realities of a fallen, crumbled civilization.    Their good words are merely bandages for the wounds of the tragic results of rejecting civilized life.

They are pushing back with truth.    Truth, to be sure,  but vestiges of truth;  glimpses of truth.

Having trouble sitting in front of the computer again tonight  (EMF,RF seems especially strong . . .and painful )  — but I want to keep this Push Back thing moving along:

I used the word “truth” a lot here.   Quid est veritas? as Pontius Pilate asked.    Well,  there is an answer.  It’s not a complicated question;  there is not a complicated answer.  But you can’t solve real problems if you can’t find truth and you can’t recognize it,

Here it is:   Truth is the adequation of the mind with external reality.

Or using the other word:  Truth is the correlation of the mind with external reality.

The mind includes the intellect because what informs your mind about external reality are your five senses.   It starts there with what is.   Then your intellect works on that information.    If your intellect strays from that external information,  then you are straying from Truth.

External reality is not a product of our imaginations.   We don’t somehow create external reality.  You didn’t have to be born and the external reality will go on without you when you die.

You can talk about truth when you correlate the faculties of your mind with that external reality.

Language is a participation in truth —

—  more about language next time.
